INFORMATION: The Sakti of Skanda (Kaumara) who in later Hinduism became regarded as one of a group of seven Mataras (mothers) of evil intent. Also one of a group of eight Astamataras. She embodies lack of envy or, alternatively, delusion. Her animal is a peacock.
